Crane Base Workover System (CBWS) Installation

  • Move in CBWS and all associated equipment, including high pressure pump and tanks
  • Conduct detailed equipment inspection and site hazard hunt
  • Rig up pump lines and choke manifold for well control
  • Pit management to be done and review in the field
  • Mix kill fluid as per Client requirements (done off-line)
  • Confirmed with PCM when Filtration is required. Mobilized as required
  • Position and check ESP equipment (done off-line)
  • Equipment measurements and serial numbers
  • On the catwalk, connect and check motor Sensor and 8 ½” OD Motor centralizer to Motor
  • Prepare sufficient threads protectors for POOH
  • Prepare tubings to be run if needed: measure and drift
  • Confirm well is shut-in BPV has been installed in the tubing hanger.
  • Perform a surface casing vent flow test as per Client requirements.
  • Kill well as per Client recommendations
  • Reverse circulate well to filtered
  • Disconnect upper pigtail (Can be done off-line)
  • Remove X-Mas Tree
  • Nipple Up BOP 
  • Confirm configuration of the rams with PCM
  • Perform pressure test
  • Test BOP annular preventer, pipe ram, blind ram, and adapter spool
  • Test Stabbing Valve
  • Test rig pump lines and choke manifold
  • Lubricate out BPV
  • Regularly monitor pressure on the choke manifold and report to Client
  • Configuration of the choke manifold in case clean up run / filtration
