POOH ESP
- Move in and install Rigfloor, Catwalk and V-Door
- Position Crane for POOH
- Rig up Tubing Handling Equipment
- Power tongs to be attached to rig floor beam
- Pipe wrenches to manually unscrew pipe
- Spider onto C-plate and C-plate onto BOP
- Rig up Elevator Links on the crane
- Rig up ESP cable sheave on Rigfloor beam
- Rig up Injection line sheave on Rigfloor beam
- Remove BPV and unset tubing hanger.
- Rig up and place Elevator on Landing Joint (Check for correct size)
- Unset Hanger and confirm weight of completion
- Monitor casing pressure as per well control program
- Disconnect cable lower pigtails and injection line connections
- Make up cable and injection line through sheaves
- POOH with tubing and ESP
- Take appropriate measure to avoid spill on ground and on Rigfloor
- Crane operator to take note of abnormal drag and report it immediately
- Disconnect and lay down ESP assembly as per ESP recommended procedures
Depending on the findings, a clean-up run on wash pipes might be needed
RIH ESP
- Sit installation table on top of BOP
- Make up ESP as per recommended procedure
- Install lifting clamp and pickup motor to Rigfloor
- Service motor as per recommended procedure
- Pickup Seal and service as appropriate (One or Two Seals)
- Pickup and connect AGH (if inserted on design)
- Pickup and connect Gas Separator
- Install pump intake
- Pickup and connect Pump (can be two or more Pumps)
- Attach injection line and MLE – Use bands to secure on ESP assy
- Depending on the Crane height, this step can come earlier
- On the catwalk, make up Auto Diverter Valve (3 ½” EUE) onto Discharge sub and connect to first pipe (3 ½” EUE, 9.3lb/ft, L-80)
- Pickup first pipe to floor and connect to pump
- Pickup 3 ½” XN profile Nipple with 2 Omega gauges installed
- Run in hole with ESP assembly on 3 ½” EUE tubing
- Running speed must not exceed 10 joints per hour
- Perform electrical test and downhole readings every 20 or 30 joints
- Use Canon clamps to secure ESP cable and injection line on tubing
- Stop at the recommended ESP setting depth – Confirm with Client
- On the catwalk, make up 9-5/8” Tubing Hanger on landing joint
- Pickup landing joint + TH and connect to last tubing
- Complete surface cable connections
- Install penetrator mandrel in TH
- Make up lower pigtail to cable end and check continuity and insulation
- Connect lower pigtail to penetrator
- Make up injection line termination in TH
- Lower Tubing Hanger into tubing hanger spool and lock down with lag screws
- Lay down landing joint, ESP running equipment and Sheaves and Install BPV
- Remove CBWS V-Door, Catwalk and Rigfloor
- Nipple down Class 3, 13-5/8” 5K BOP
- Install X-Mas Tree
- Remove BPV and install TWCV
- Rig in HP Pump and pressure test Wellhead connections
- to 300psig (low) and 3000psig (high) for 10mins each
- Pressure test master valves, wing valves and swab valve
- Confirm test criteria with PCM
